Hog 4 OS consoles running v2.4.0 and greater can be upgraded to v3.1.0 but consoles running older
software versions require a full install of software v3.1.0. Please refer to the Hog 4 OS help manual for
detailed instructions on how to a perform a full install on your console.

Show File Compatibility
Show files created with or edited using Hog 4 OS v3.1.0 are compatible with Hog 4 OS v3.0.1 and v3.0.0
but are not compatible with Hog 4 OS v2.7.0 or older.

New Features and Enhancements:

Palette to Palette Effects

Users can now build effects between two palettes by making a fixture selection and then using the syntax Effect @ [Palette] thru [Palette]. When performing this syntax the console will construct a 5bpm sine wave effect between the two palettes in the effect editor for the selected fixtures.

Note: The palettes used to build the effect are not referenced in the effect editor. Therefore, once the effect is recorded into a cue, scene, or palette any references to the original palettes used to build the effect are lost.

Patching Support for Show Merge
Show merging now supports patching. When performing a show merge the console will automatically do the following:
-Fixtures appended to the destination show file will maintain their patch information unless their patch information conflicts with patch information already used by fixtures in the destination show file; in the case that patch conflicts exist the appended fixtures will be added to the destination show file without patch information.

-Fixtures in the source show file that are replacing fixtures in the destination show file will use the patch information of the destination show file.

To summarize: Hog 4 OS will always protect the patch records of the destination show file and will only allow appended fixtures to bring their patch records into the destination show file provided that conflicts don't exist.

Slot Menu Alphabetized
The menu for selecting slots is now alphabetized in the edit fixtures window and the fixture builder.

CITP support added for:
Pandoras Box v5 std graphic 38ch
Pandoras Box v5 std video 38ch
Arkaos Mediamaster v1.1 Full Layer Extended
